A warm and merry morning to all. I hope those South Africans reading this post are alive and well after the recent spate of scary weather seen around the country!
Now to the crux of the post, on a recent visit to Ramsgate, specifically the renowned Waffle House for a breakfast that was not only amazing but served to increase my vocabulary; who knew that there was such word as Scromlette? I found myself visiting the men’s room. Now I am not known for whipping out my camera mid-pee however, I am sure you will agree that this time, it was for a worthy cause.
Allow me to introduce, courtesy of the Waffle House men’s room – The Rams Gate Book and Art Festival.
Despite travelling literary circles for a number of years I have never heard of this festival. If you might have been there during the last three years of the festivals existence I would love to hear your feedback in the comments section.
After a short stint on Google I managed to unearth the details of the upcoming festival, seems like it could really be something to see. Scrolling down the Facebook Page I noticed that the well-known Shani Krebs will be talking about his 18 years spent in Thailand’s prison system from his story – Dragons and Butterflies.
Are you going – Let me know😊
