About the author - Anne Bell
I qualified as a teacher in 1973 at the Teachers' College in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I specialised in the Foundation Phase and was wonderfully equipped within the profession through the largely British based training programmes.
I have since grown in my understanding of the needs of children at this vital stage of their lives, gaining experience during my career spanning 38 years. I have developed a particular love for the value of PHONICS in these young developing minds, where language begins to take its treasured place. During my recent twelve years in London my colleagues inspired me to share my ideas and write a book.
